Babysitting followed, then lifeguarding, surveying the mountains of Utah and Wyoming, and selling stamps in Alaska and Florida. After 18 years of government service, I became a freelance bookkeeper and professional organizer.
While my careers were going well, my home life was another story. Relationships had been a challenge my entire adult life. After my third divorce and several boyfriend breakups, I began studying the serious business of happiness. It was time to look inward, into the final frontier, and figure out why I was the common denominator in all those failed relationships. Along the way, I took a good long look at what I really wanted and remembered my love of writing.
Today, I am happily married to husband number four, Patrick, and I'm telling my story. Oh, we have our moments, because I'm still a work in progress. Just ask Patrick. But he loves me right where I am.

Jennifer Monahan graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa with a B.S. in Business Administration. As a member of Toastmasters International for five years, she was the 2007-2008 President of her local chapter, and became an award winning speaker and leader in her community.
